ACHIEVING IT WASN'T.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 2WA™ Signature was designed to be understated.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNo oversized graphics. No conventional 3D puff embroidery. Instead, we wanted to use Signature to showcase just how far we could push embroidery design and construction.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe concept seemed simple:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCreate an embroidered 2WA design that transitions from deep black through charcoal and gunmetal into silver — and changes appearance as the light and viewing angle move across it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe were initially told it couldn't be done. Not with embroidery.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe first samples failed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFurther development revealed just how difficult the effect was to achieve. Creating the transition required an extremely complex, multi-layer embroidery construction within the design. We were advised that even if it could be achieved, it would be considerably more expensive to manufacture.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur instruction was simple:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDon't design it to a price.
